There are actually crocoite crystals on and included within the large cerussite crystal on the left hand side of the cavity. Cerussite, Crocoite.
Location : The Adelaide Mine, Dundas, Tasmania, Australia. Size : 31.5cm x 33cm x 14cm. Weight : > 6 kg. Description : A very large cluster of yellow cerussite crystals with attached crocoite. The crocoite seems to have been deposited on only one side of the cerussite so is more visible when the specimen is viewed from the left. This is a significant old specimen mined in the early 1900's. This is the biggest and best example of it's type that I have ever seen and doubt very much that there is a better one to be found anywhere else in the world. This specimen is completely pristine and even the periphery is surprisingly clean. $40,000.00 Added :
